Creative Inspirations – A Fall Card with a Cute Bear from Polkadoodles!

We are back with our September challenge over at the Creative Inspirations Blog and this month our theme is

For my card today I used the brand-new release from Polkadoodles called rather appropriately HELLO AUTUMN. This collection is a lovely mix of super cute Fall and Halloween characters (both coloured and black & white), papers, background scenes, toppers and sentiments.

 

I have used CUTE BEAR FALLING LEAVES for my shaped card today, using one of the background scenes, a coloured sentiment and several die-cut leaves.

Polkadoodles Digi Choosday – A Friendship Card!

Today the team are celebrating friendship, and my card uses elements from one of the newest Polkadoodles digital collection FLUFFY FRIENDS. There are so many gorgeous pre-coloured images in this set that I decided to use one of those which really does save on time if you’re in a hurry. 

 I printed the coloured image and sentiment straight onto one of the pretty backing papers and added a shadow to everything to give some depth then grounded the image with a little grey pencil.

Digi Choosday – A Fairy on a Shaped Card!

Today the team were tasked with a ‘Magical Fantasy’ theme, and I have used one of the gorgeous fairies from the WINNIE DAISY FAIRY COLLECTION and she is called BUNNY RABBIT FRIEND. I went with a monochrome look, colouring with pencils and adding lots of die-cuts.

Creative Inspirations – All Dressed Up Stamps ‘Strawberry Season!

 Hello, how are things?

I have to admit that this card got away from me somewhat as I was in panic mode when I made it. You see I had initially used the wrong image for this challenge.  Right sponsor at least just wrong DT. Ooops 

This lovely lady is called STRAWBERRY SEASON and I found some very busy but apt paper from LDRS Creative (since retired) to go with her.  I dug out an old embossing folder too that I have had since the dawn of time and even managed to make some teeny-weeny strawberries to add to the vine.

Today I find myself as a guest on the GIRLZ CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE blog and their theme this time is ‘Fun Folds’

 

Well, my ‘fun fold’ is a centre stepper card featuring this fabulous cocoa-sipping polar bear from DIS DIGI STAMPS called MUGSY (love it).

I must admit it took me ages to make this card. Do you find that happens sometimes? I had chosen my paper, coloured my image then…nope I had nothing. I knew it would be a stepper but that was about it. Still a cup of tea and a walk with the dog later and I managed to finish it. Phew!
