GDT - Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge - Di's Digi Winter Bear

 Good morning! Back again! 

Today I find myself as a guest on the GIRLZ CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE blog and their theme this time is ‘Fun Folds’

 

Well, my ‘fun fold’ is a centre stepper card featuring this fabulous cocoa-sipping bear from DIS DIGI STAMPS called MUGSY (love it).

I must admit it took me ages to make this card. Do you find that happens sometimes? I had chosen my paper, coloured my image then…nope I had nothing. I knew it would be a stepper but that was about it. Still a cup of tea and a walk with the dog later and I managed to finish it. Phew!

613 Avenue Create Challenge – A Fun Card with LOTV Little Ballerinas!

Hello, how are things?

It is time for a new challenge at 613 AVENUE CREATE.

Our challenge is monthly and always ‘Anything Goes’ with an optional twist which today is ‘Play Time’ featuring something fun. 

Now these pretty little girls look as if they are having lots of fun and they can be found in the fabulous collection of LITTLE BALLERINAS from LILI OF THE VALLEY.

 

As soon as I saw these adorable little misses I just had to have them (being a huge ballet and LOTV fan). I used 2 of the images, flipping one to face the other way and coloured them with my pencils. I decided on different skin tones for each and used the backing paper for my inspiration for the palette.

I am over the moon to once again be a guest designer on the KLEUREN MET POTLODEN (COLOURING WITH PENCILS) challenge blog.

Digi Choosday – A Hexagon Card for a Student!

Hello everybody!  Happy Choosday!

We have just entered the school summer holidays here in the UK so now would be a great time to make those encouraging cards for when the new term comes around.  Let’s face it time will fly by.

 This sweet little student is from the GRADUATION/SCHOOL collection, just look at her adorable face.  I added her to one of the fabulous papers in this set and then created a banner by layering a piece of the EPHEMERA and a flag sentiment from the OBJECT BUNDLE then printed it all out as a single layer design. I do love a shaped card so broke out my hexagon dies again and added some punched stars as she is most definitely a star student.

GDT – The Dream Factory Challenge – Polkadoodles Gnome Stamps!

Good morning!

I am very honoured to be a guest designer on THE DREAM FACTORY challenge blog today. Their themes are always film related and today the film in question is

 so anything bee-related basically.

POLKADOODLES has a fabulous array of bee and gnome images in their collection called BUZZY BEE, and that is what I chose to use today. I printed the image directly onto the backing paper to make a single layer CAS card (so much easier for posting).

This little guy is taking his love of bees very seriously as he has even dyed his beard to be a bee-ard. 😊

613 Avenue Create Challenge – A Meditative Retirement Card!

Hello, how are things?

It is time for a new monthly challenge at 613 AVENUE CREATE.

Our challenge is monthly and always ‘Anything Goes’ with an optional twist which today is ‘Any Holiday’.

 

I chose to follow the Anything Goes theme this time as I had a retirement card to make for one of my sisters-in-law.

 

DI’S DIGITAL STAMPS has some fabulous modern ladies in their store and I thought that this particular one, LOTUS LOTTIE YOGA, would be just right for my SiL. It’s an ironic sentiment as she has no conception of relaxation at all. She is always on the go so retirement will probably mean her cramming even more into her days (my poor brother…teehee).
