Polkadoodles Digi Choosday – An Autumn Wedding Anniversary with Two Cute Rabbits.

Today the team are celebrating the arrival of autumn, and I have to say to it “what took you so long?”! 

I have made an autumnal wedding anniversary card for my brother and SiL today featuring two of the images that come in the GIL RABBIT BUNNY BUNDLE, and they are GIL RABBIT SUNFLOWERS and GIL RABBIT GARDENING. I used Word to merge them together onto one of the backing papers from the CREEPY CREATURES COLLECTION. I chose this paper as (if you look VERY closely) it has a misty depiction of a temple/folly and it looks very much like their wedding venue at Stowe School. I was quite chuffed with that. Although I do have to point out that they themselves are not actual rabbits.

613 Avenue Create Challenge – A Sunny Card with a LOTV Vintage Boy!

 Hello, how are things?

It is time for a new challenge at 613 AVENUE CREATE.

Our challenge is monthly and always ‘Anything Goes’ with an optional twist which today is ‘Bright & Breezy’ …so a project featuring sun or wind.

 

I went for the sunny option for my card today as I needed a card for another of my brothers and decided to use an image from the amazing LILI OF THE VALLEY. 

This sweet little lad is one I have in clear stamp form from a set that is many, many years old.  It includes the ‘Happy Birthday’ and corners I used too.

Today the team are celebrating friendship, and my card uses elements from one of the newest Polkadoodles digital collection FLUFFY FRIENDS. There are so many gorgeous pre-coloured images in this set that I decided to use one of those which really does save on time if you’re in a hurry. 

 I printed the coloured image and sentiment straight onto one of the pretty backing papers and added a shadow to everything to give some depth then grounded the image with a little grey pencil.
