Welcome back and today’s theme is Halloween...wha-ha-ha-haaaa!!
We don’t really ‘go
all out’ for Halloween in the UK (which is a shame I think) but that doesn’t
mean we don’t want and like to make spooky cards! Oh yes!

DIES.
First I made my background by smooshing different inks onto
watercolour paper and then cutting some dark grey card with the
IN THE GRASS DIE SET.
I then stamped, coloured and die cut all my little characters
going for a sort of black & white movie feel.
You may have noticed that the little girl is no longer dressed as a unicorn. Well this was because she
really wanted to be a pirate so I stamped and die cut the pirate and cut away
his headscarf and sword..
…I also gave her the pirate's hat too…
Next I wanted a spooky house because, as we all know, that’s
the best place for a Halloween party. So to work out how I was going to do it I created a template by cutting the
LIL PINK HOUSES DIE twice out of
scrap paper, cutting out each individual house and then arranging them as I wanted them.
When I was
happy I cut from black card, edged with SNOW WHITE HYBRID
INK and glued it all together. I then coloured in the windows and doors with a yellow marker.
