Now ever since I was little (yes, I can remember that far back;
just) I have loved shadow puppets (!). My parents even bought me a shadow
theatre complete with odd looking characters and I played with it
constantly...well until it sort of disintegrated. And I think that is where my love for
silhouettes comes from. So how could I
possibly resist these GORGEOUS new Polkadoodles stamps that were premiered on
Hochanda recently?
The beauty of a silhouette stamp is that it cries out for an
interesting background. So step up
please all those mop-up, stencil cleaning & general experimenting bits of
paper that have accumulated in my ‘oooh-must-do-something-with-that’ drawer.
I used quite a textured watercolour paper so stamping the
silhouettes was never going to be easy.
Thank goodness for a stamping platform, how did I manage without one?
