Polkadoodles Digi Choosday – A Halloween Treat Bag with Cute Critters!

I made a cute Halloween treat bag today featuring lots of lovely goodies from the  HELLO AUTUMN collection.

The main image is called TRICK OR TREAT BEAR & BUNNY, and it is so beautifully pre-coloured that I didn’t even try to colour it myself (saves a bit of time too). I used Word to arrange all my images onto one of the gorgeous AUTUMN BACKGROUND SCENES and used some of the AUTUMN CLIP ART COLLECTION, the cauldron, spellbook and potion bottle, to add a touch of magic to the scene. I re-coloured the sentiment to give it a ghostly appearance against the sky.

Halloween is fast approaching and I have used this gorgeous digi, BEAR DRACULA, for my project today.

 

This image is from the adorable HELLO AUTUMN collection, and I decided to use my Copics to colour him as a panda, those big black rings around his eyes seemed to suit the theme.

613 Avenue Create Challenge – A Pink Witch with Mo’s Digital Pencil!

 Hello, how are things?

It is time for a new challenge at 613 AVENUE CREATE.

Our challenge is monthly and always ‘Anything Goes’ with an optional twist which today is ‘Think Pink’.

 

I picked Halloween for my pink themed card today using this fab image from MO’S DIGITAL PENCIL

 

I find pink can be a hard shade to get right and I tried quite a few of my pencils before I could get 2 distinctive tones. This is a very tiny homage to Wicked with the green skin of Elphaba and the pink dress of Galinda. Sort of an Elphalinda if you will.

The Paper Shelter Challenge – From Hippie Chic to Wednesday Addams!

 Good morning all!

Today we have a new challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER and as always it is

ANYTHING GOES with an optional twist which this time is ‘Take a Non-Halloween Image and Make it Spooky’ Oh boy did I enjoy myself with this one.

 

The non-Halloween image I chose to use is HIPPIE CHIC who I thought I had a reasonable chance of turning into Wednesday Addams.

Pencils worked best for the colouring as they are more opaque than Copics so I could disguise certain areas and add bits here and there. ‘Thing’ was created using the hand from this TPS image HERE

Good morning all!

Today we have a new challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER and as always it is

The image I chose today has real squeal-ability...I mean she is just too precious!

 

This is SWEET LITTLE WITCH and look at her adorable little face, yes it’s green but it doesn’t detract from the cuteness. After all peas are quite endearing aren’t they!
