Digi Choosday – A Snow Globe Shaped Card for Christmas!

Hello everybody!  Happy Choosday! I refuse to mention the hot weather (oops I just did) as I am trying to ignore it and hope it goes away.

Anyway…

 I created a snow globe shaped card featuring this lovely image called PICKLES HEDGEHOG CANDY CANE and yes, he is going to eat it all and no you can’t have any.

Now personally I feel that if you are looking for cute critters you cannot go far wrong with the POLKADOODLES NOODLE PANDA COLLECTION, and this little sweetheart is called BAMBOO SNACK TIME.

I decided to create a little bamboo ‘hammock’ for him using off-cuts from various dies and he is perched quite precariously on it enjoying his lunch. Doesn't look too comfy I must say.

We are back with our first challenge of the year over at the Creative Inspirations Blog and this month our theme is an easy one.

For my card today I used the brand-new release from Polkadoodles called UDDERLY CUTE. Full of ridiculously cute, love-struck cows it is perfect for Valentine’s, birthdays and anniversaries.

I took all my elements into Word and added drop shadows so that I could print everything out on a single sheet of paper while still giving the illusion of dimension.

The team are playing with different folds today and I am not too sure if I have ever tried this one before. As far as I can make out it’s called a zig-zag card and I thought it would be perfect for the images I chose to use.
