Digi Choosday Challenge – Vintage Santa!

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….” are you singing along? Well that’s the theme tune for the DT this week and I have decorated a tag with this fabulous vintage Santa.

I went a little mixed media on this one and I think it suits the image. I already had a piece of card that I had used to ‘clean off’ my stencils from previous projects (I have a growing number of these in my stash) and luckily the colours were just what I wanted.

I have a card to celebrate the New Year today that uses one of my all-time favourite images ODDELLA WITH BAG and one of Nikky’s fabulous chalkboard sentiments.

Poor Oddella doesn’t actually look in the party mood does she so I thought I would cheer her up by giving her a nice party hat cut VERY roughly from Kraft and coloured with gel pens. I think her expression says it all really!

I have a winter birthday card to show today and in case you were in any doubt that it was for the chilly season I have added a few snowflakes to it…only a few mind!! 😀😀😀

If you need a Christmas card for a ‘girl with attitude’ (as I do) you need an image to match so I used the utterly gorgeous ULA - BE STRONG and dressed her up for the festive season.

The beautifully delicate die set from Polkadoodles is one of my faves and can be made to look like a gift so that is what I did. I used 2 different sentiments from 2 different collections to correspond with Ula’s obvious defiant mood. “Christmas”, she says?!  “Bring it on”!!!

So another Christmas offering from me and this time I have used one of my fave collections PICKNIX 3 – NORDIC WINTER which features this awesome vintage Santa image! Isn’t he absolutely fab!

For some reason this design seems to have taken on a sort of circus/carnival look, maybe it’s the stripy sweeties??? I’ve no idea! Maybe it’s just me. 😕
