Now being a member of the Polkadoodles team means I am blessed to get to play with some of the newest goodies in the store and I have used one of the brand new clear stamps called POINSETTIA/HOLLY. Adore it!!!

Have you seen the new ‘Stamp of the Month’ that Nikky has introduced to the store? Well I have used the first of this series called WINNIE CHRISTMAS WREATH! Isn’t she fab.

I stamped her directly onto some of the digi paper from WINNIE WINTERLAND and coloured her with pencils.  I wanted to create a complete scene so I used a pre-coloured image from the same collection, re-coloured to B/W, added it onto another digi paper and resized to fit behind the window die. I added pops of colour to it to match the rest. 

The cute little robin sitting on the fence is another clear stamp that comes as a BONUS when you purchase this gorgeous STAMP OF THE MONTH. I know!!!

Well the ‘Big Day’ will soon be here (apparently) so the team have turned their minds to Christmas and I have made a card that could (if you screwed your eyes up and viewed it from a distance) bear a passing resemblance to a certain film with a chilly name!!

I have used the stunning ULA DON’T LISTEN from the ULA’S LIFE range and backing paper and pre-coloured ICE PALACE from OCTAVIA FROSTED WINTER.  I have also used one of the amazing new clear stamps for my sentiment that you can find HERE. The silly snowman is made from various dies and I could not resist adding googly eyes (although they do keep following me round the room)!

So the team are giving thanks this week and I took the opportunity to use the adorable LIL MISS SUGARPOPS COLLECTION again.  Just crazy about this bundle!

This image is called GIGGLE and I coloured her with pencils and cut her out with my Scan n Cut.  I created a background for her by digitally resizing one of the backing papers and then adding 2 of the sentiments; duplicating and changing their orientation to add interest (otherwise it would have just looked like a list LOL).  Really simple and ever so slightly CAS!

This week the team are using a design sheet and I thought I would make a card suitable for a guy with the SCIENTIST/GEEK/STUDENT.

These sheets are absolutely perfect for those quick cards when you don’t have time to colour or go hunting around for matching bits and bobs! I did add a touch of black pencil to my scientist’s face though as he had a bit of an ‘overreaction’ with his chemicals!!
