Digi Choosday Challenge Week 17 – Anything Goes!

So if you popped in to visit me over the Easter weekend you would have seen me showcase the fab new collection from Nikky Hall called HORACE & BOO. Sooooo adorable.  Being a dog owner I have loved working with this collection and could not resist using one of the design sheets to make my card this week. Pre-coloured images save soooooo much time! 😊 

I have added Glossy Accents to Horace’s nose but you will have to take my word for it as you cannot tell on the photo.  I do love this sentemnt though it is so true...they also leave paw prints on the carpet, bed, sofa.......

Polkadoodles Horace & Boo Launch Party with a Surprise Cake!

Hello, it’s me again!

I’m here to show my last sample made for the launch of Nikky’s new and uber cute Polkadoodles characters HORACE & BOO!

So I created a pop up box card to celebrate a birthday with the fab image SURPRISE CAKE!

I coloured Horace to look like my friend’s Dalmatian and Boo to look like my old ginger cat!! It’s possible he was not quite that orange though.😊

So I created a loved up centre stepper to show off our utterly adorable couple, FRIENDLY CUDDLES . Awwwww!

I attempted to colour Horace in the same colours as my oldest Staffy.

Polkadoodles Horace & Boo Launch Party Continues but Needs a Toilet Break!

Hello, I’m back with another sample I made for the launch of Nikky’s new and uber cute Polkadoodles characters HORACE & BOO!

So whilst walking in the park, and having consumed ice-cream and other ‘goodies’, it would appear that both HORACE and BOO are in need of a ‘toilet break’ LOL A lamppost and small patch of turf should do the trick! 

I have merged the two images and given them ‘snacks’ to hold and added some POLKADOODLES DIES for good measure.

Whoo Hoo...Polkadoodles Horace & Boo Launch Party!

Hellooooo! How are you? Happy Easter everyone! 

Well I’ve just popped in to introduce you to a gorgeous new addition to the Polkadoodles family and their names are HORACE & BOO!  A CAT AND A DOG!!!!! OMG!! They are just too gorgeous and as you may know I am a pet owner (I have 3 dogs and not all that long ago 3 cats too) I was ecstatic when I saw these images.  

We have a FB launch party to celebrate the introduction of this fabulous new couple and it is currently in full swing, so pop over to our Facebook groups, POLKADOODLES CRAFTING, DIGI CHOOSDAY & COLOUR CRAZY and join us.  It’s here that you will be able to drool over the truly AWESOME projects the DT has made.

Ok so my first make sees HORACE & BOO off to a party! I decided to merge the dog house, tree, grass and clouds from the embellies section of the bundle to create a scene and then print out in greyscale.  I then coloured our sweet duo to match.

I suppose I based them on my pets past and present…sort of.  Horace could be my black Labrador and Boo is my cat Jack who we lost a couple of years ago.  That’s what I’m saying anyway.

Well Easter was the DT brief this week and I took the opportunity to use my new shadow box die set. A birthday gift don’t you know!

I used the fabulous white rabbit from the wonderful WINNIE IN WONDERLAND collection and digitally covered the pocket watch he is carrying with one of the digi eggs in the WINNIE SUGAR SPRINKLES SPRINGTIME COLLECTION.  Now that’s a lot of chocolate….or a VERY big chick!!

Well priding myself on being a bit of a crafty chick (see my email address) I used this fab image called….wait for it…..CRAFTY CHICK.  Well would have been rude not to.

She is drawn in a fab ‘sketchy’ style which I really like and was simplicity itself to colour.  I went for a dramatic pink and black look thanks to the paper I found in my stash…no idea where it was from though…and added some pattern to her top and bag with white gel pen.

Digi Choosday Challenge Week 14 – Anything Goes!

So spring is in the air, well it is at Digi Choosday this week, and I have used the uber gorgeous DAFFODIL to create my card.  So difficult to choose from all the lovely ladies in the DARLING BUDS range but as I have oodles of daffs in my garden (and see them everywhere when I am out with my dogs) I just HAD to use her.

I added a tiny flower to the sentiment to cover an inky fingerprint. Ooops!
