When a Bear Becomes a Reindeer With a Little Die-Soup!

Digi Choosday Challenge –Be a Mermaid!

I really love to play with ink, paint and pigment powders to create backgrounds but this is my first attempt with alcohol inks on plastic craft paper… and I absolutely love it.  It's great fun but do wear gloves as you will stain your hands. Ask me how I know this??!!

So my card today features the stunning MERIBELLE SWISHY TAIL and I have cropped her and placed her inside the card, over my inky background.

I also cut an aperture in the front of the card so that you can just see her peeping through and used the flower stamps from the BEST OF DAYS to create an underwater/other-worldly sort of look. I think you get what I mean.

It’s an Easter theme for the team this week and I have made a double tag using a couple of digi images, COOL DUDE & HAPPY WOOF-DAY DOG . 

So I had this idea that would not go away and I have to try to make it whether it ended well or not. Inside my head is a very messy place you know.  So my idea was to dress my poor COOL DUDE as a happy, hoppy Easter bunny using the COTTONTAIL BUNNY RABBIT set.  Have to say that he doesn’t look all that happy about it; apparently his doggie is struggling with it too.

The DT are making a gift for a lady this week and as I am all over Mother’s Day this year (go me!) I have made a little something for my mum. Now I have no idea who the motley crew are featured in the photograph despite the fact that this is a gift for my mum and I just happen to have 3 younger brothers.  They certainly look like trouble to me and was that mullet and polar neck a good idea?! Be thankful I recoloured it to black and white, the garish 1970’s colours were a bit much. Wow we really did love orange back then! LOL 

So to match this throwback photo (my brothers are going to kill me) I thought the LITTLE MONSTERS DOWNLOAD would be perfect. Can’t for the life of me think why!
