We Love 2 Create – Flamenco Angel!

Hello! Happy Sunday!

Time for a new monthly challenge at WE LOVE 2 CREATE which is always ‘Anything Creative/Mixed Media Goes’ and we are sponsored by the awesome POLKADOODLES!! Our winner will receive a fabulous prize so check out the blog for details.

Now I created this project some time ago for the Hochanda launch of the BELIEVE IN ANGELS COLLECTION but never blogged it.  So here we are my version of a flamenco dancer.

I stamped the angel and coloured with watercolours.  I used the fabulous CREATIVE ANGEL stencil to make multiples of the dress using shimmer texture paste and then cut them all out.

I edged each dress piece with the border of one of the FANCIFUL CIRCLES dies and made her sleeves and collar with some of the cut offs.  I layered up my dresses to create a ‘flowy’ feel and added some flowers to her hair stamped from the FLOWER POWER 1 set gave her an exotic look. 

I mounted everything onto a slim canvas covered with paper from one of the gorgeous POSY DOODLES A4 KITS.
