The team are following a vintage theme this week so I thought
I would make a tribute to my dad. I
found a few old photos (my dad in 1959, a train from one of our MANY trips to railway
yards when I was little and his motorbike).
I scanned them and recoloured them to match the other embellies that I
had digitally changed to sepia.
He had a great many hobbies and interests, my dad, most of
which I have been able to include on my project….books, movies, music
(particularly jazz), trains, motorbikes, photography and so much more. This
piece has a slight nod towards mixed media with some random stamping and
splashes of paint to add further interest.
