So I have gone a little sepia today for this month’s
project, decorating a 6X6 piece of whiteboard for Christmas.
OK, so I have to admit to this being a little bit #lastminute as I realised I hadn’t made anything for this challenge with just a couple of days to go!! Eeek! So I was very much free-styling, I had NO plan, and ended up covering my whiteboard with shimmer paint and then layering over the top with various stamps. When I’d finished I decided that I didn’t hate it which is always a marker of success for me.
I do adore this fabulous mushroom house and once I had very
roughly coloured it with watercolours I cut it out and glued it onto a pile of
various dies and ‘other stuff’ (see below). I wanted some more texture so I
took my Snow Paste and as soon as I had managed to get the lid off (after lots
of shouting and empty threats) I added it here and there.
I used the NUMBER COLLAGE stencil to include a
large 25 in the corner just in case anyone needed a reminder of that important Christmas
date.
