Our DT remit this week was to make something for a lady, and who better to craft for than your mum.  Well in this case MY mum!

I had bought a couple of wooden box frames from Hobbycraft before Christmas and decided to use one to create a gift for Mothering Sunday using the scrummylicious LEMONADE FIZZ COLLECTION.

So as Valentine’s Day approaches the DT had a ‘Love & Kisses’ theme to follow and flying in the face of convention (as is my wont) I decided a little monster/alien love-in would do very nicely thank you! 

As you can see the sweethearts are flying off into the sunset (well stratosphere I guess) in their luuurve mobile or spaceship crudely constructed from various dies.  Not too sure they’re going to make it; looks a little ropey to me!

Polkadoodles Pancake Day Cuties #2

Good morning everybody!  Howya doin’?

I’m here to share another card using one of the super adorable new Polkadoodles Lil Miss Sugarpops characters and this one is called PANCAKE OOPSY.

It would not be me if I didn’t go a little die-crazy so I once again used the RIDICULOUSLY versatile and inspiring POLKADOODLES DIE SETS! I created a frying pan frame and all sorts of pancake batter and eggy ‘mess’ using them.

Have to admit that this is totally me in the kitchen trying to make pancakes…EPIC FAIL!!  Baking…yes (although I say so myself I’m pretty good at that) but pancakes...hmmmm!  That’s probably why I usually stick to the pre-made American style ones that you plonk in the toaster....even I can’t get THAT wrong!

Polkadoodles Pancake Day Cuties!!

There are 2 new cuties that have just been added to the POLKADOODLES SHOP just in time for Shrove Tuesday and I have used one of them on my card today.
