WL2C – Time to Fly!

Hello! Happy Sunday! Hope things are going ok!

I have a tutorial for you today, showing how I created this card.

I began with a piece of watercolour card spraying it liberally with water.  I then added various sparkle powders, adding more water as I went and let it dry naturally.

Using Distress Oxides I added interest using the NUMBER COLLAGE stencil and AMAZING TEXTURES stamps.

I also added texture using the HANGING GARDEN set and white embossing powder. 

Now time (excuse the pun) for a little stamping and masking to make my focal image using the TIME TO GET FUNKY and CIRCLING AROUND sets. 

I water coloured the image, fussy cut then added Distress Crackle over the top…. Big mistake. Check the age of your stash people, bottles are not designed to last forever. So, after marvelling at the mess I had made I re-stamped and used ultra-thick embossing powder instead……saved!!

The sentiment comes from the TIME TO BLOOM stamp set…. 

…and I added it to my card along with my flying clock using some sisal fibre for more interest.

And there you go a grungy, masculine card in the nick of time!! {Sorry!}
