Time for a new monthly challenge at WE LOVE 2 CREATE
which is always ‘Anything Creative/Mixed Media Goes’ and we are sponsored by
the amazing POLKADOODLES!! Our winner will receive a fabulous prize so

I have had an assortment of MDF plaques for goodness knows
how long so thought it was about time I used one.
I began my project by covering the base with gesso and then
spread texture paste through the gorgeous POLKADOODLES ‘POINSETTIA/HOLLY’ STENCIL.
Once dry I sprayed, splashed and splattered with various
sprays, paint and waxes, adding mica flakes for luck (crikey I thought glitter,
sequins and micro beads got everywhere).
I coloured this fabulous GNOME stamp with watercolour
markers and scribbled around him with a fine liner.
